Wheel alignment explained
- Tell us about pulling, an off-centre steering wheel or uneven tyre wear.
- We inspect the suspension and measure the wheel angles.
- We discuss the findings and adjust within the vehicle’s available range.
- We explain the results and any further work needed.
Does any of this sound familiar?
- The steering wheel is off-centre
- The car is difficult to keep straight or pulls to one side
- You have noticed uneven tyre wear
- You have changed coilovers, suspension components or wheels
Measurement and adjustment
We measure wheel angles and adjust the alignment after checking your suspension setup and how you use the car. The available adjustment and required work depend on the condition of the components.
Camber is the wheel tilt viewed from the front; toe is the direction of the wheels viewed from above; caster is the steering-axis tilt viewed from the side. Alongside the measurements, we listen to the handling symptoms you have noticed.
